Just another love song I wrote. It’s my second love song.
I suppose the nuclear fusion of love is instant love. The ending of the song is truly romantic.
I thought of trains because I love trains and a book actually gets them to meet.
When you really fall in love, heavily, it’s just like you have been waiting for the person for a time, sometimes, a long time.
Also, maybe the women saw the guy for years on the train and fell in love with him way before he noticed her.
Romance is an incredible thing, like telling some-one you will love them forever.
Anyway, the song just flowed out of me. The lyrics for the song are below.
‘The Very Moment I Saw You I Loved You’ – Concept, title, and lyrics by Peter Barnes (2026)
It was a beautiful summers day
I was on a train
The sun was flashing through the windows
You were sitting across from me
Reading a book
You looked up
You had the face of an angel
You looked into my eyes
And smiled at me
My heart just stopped
The very moment I saw you
I loved You
I know it may sound crazy
But it’s true
The train was coming to a stop
Your book fell to the floor
I raced to pick it up
I held that book tight
I couldn’t let you go
The very moment I saw you
I loved You
I know it may sound crazy
But it’s true
As your hand touched the book
Your hand touched mine
I looked into your beautiful eyes
And said
The very moment I saw you
I loved You
I know it may sound crazy
But it’s true
You smiled and said
I know you love me
I have been waiting for you
All my life
