A New Level Of Songwriting

The new song ‘There’s A Bright Shining Light Yonder’ is a heavy psychedelic song.

Thought I would push myself into a new level of songwriting.

The song is about some-one experiencing the end of life and doesn’t know what is happening.

He see things like a bright light and the sky moving sideways.

He also laments ‘Why has life passed me by’ and wants to know ‘Where is the key to the door of life’.

He is thinking though that maybe it is the end for him with ‘Darkness starts to surround me… Maybe it’s the end’

Not a song for everybody, but was obviously sitting in my mind ready to be created.

It’s extraordinary where words come from when you think about it.

The song is really an experience in heavy sound.

The images in the video are my abstract paintings created over time. They are way out there, like the song.
