The song is an attempt to create a modern country music love song. When I say modern, I mean the sound of the song. The music is heavy, getting away from the light side of country music.

Probably the most difficult and time consuming song so far. Just couldn’t get the music right. I have many great versions of the song but I was looking for something that could really attract attention. Like a strong hypnotic sound.

The song has imperfections, but it is a demo, and I just wouldn’t be able to get the feeling I got with the song if I tried to keep on producing the music and make changes. For instance, I would put the lyrics… ‘There’s no one like you’, in the middle of the song also, but hey, if someone wants to record the song, that’s something i would like to see.

The music is a once only and the feeling is just what I wanted. Yes, the song you hear wont be repeated again. That’s why, if there is a mistake in the song, I work very hard to fix it.

Writing the lyrics for a song is much easier for me than producing the music. I really like the lyrics… ‘Even in my darkest hours, you’re the light in my life’. I find it absolutely enjoyable to come up with lyrics like that.

Now some, if not many, will say that this is not a country song. Yes, probably not in the traditional sense, but one can experiment, can’t one?

In writing songs, I am trying to push myself into creating songs that are different, but still be widely liked. My songs are original and I write all the lyrics.

I think there are terms like country rock songs and other different ways of producing country music. This song could be termed a crossover song, in that it could be popular as a country song and also as a pop (popular) song.

I might, some day in the future, publish another version of the song, as I have a number that are really good too. But this version of the song stood out from the rest.

Modern country music is something I will continue to write and create.

The new country love song definitely has a driving hypnotic sound and is very catchy song without being overbearing. I think the song’s tune easily sticks in your head, and features a simple and repeated chorus (hook), and makes you want to sing or move along to the song.
