A new country love song, titled ‘Hey Honey, What Are You Doing To Me’.
The guy is feeling his ‘Honey’ is slipping away from him and she might not love him anymore, but he says… ‘I’s not too late for our love to go on’. That’s a positive spin on things.
Some emotions he feels about his ‘Honey’ are… ‘Why do your kisses stay in my memory’, and… ‘And my heart beats faster when I think of you’.
I am often amazed where lyrics come from like… ‘Why do your kisses stay in my memory’. Honestly, they just come into my mind.
The guy is feeling sad and says… ‘I miss you every day’, and… ‘Don’t make me cry’.
I have three really good versions of the song, besides this one, and I may publish another version of the song in the future.
The only other country song I have authored was recorded in 1989, and is a Northern Territory song, titled ‘This Northern Land Of Mine’.
This song video is a demo of my ability to write and create songs.
I was watching an interview by Paul McCartney recently, and he said if he hadn’t been successful in writing songs (or something like that), he still would have done it as hobby.
Pretty much somes up why I do it. More of a hobby when it comes to writing love songs.
It’s different with the war/military songs I have created. I take that much more seriously.
Any way, here are the lyrics for the new country love song, titled ‘Hey Honey, What Are You Doing To Me’.
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Now
Don’t make me cry
Why do your kisses stay in
My memory
And my heart beats faster
When I think of you
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Now
Don’t make me cry
Why do your kisses stay in
My memory
And my heart beats faster
When I think of you
It is a heartache just
to think you might not
Love me anymore
Now honey
I’s not too late
for our love to go on
It’s so hard to keep a smile
On my face
When you are not around
Please don’t throw our
Love away
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Now
Don’t make me cry
Why do your kisses stay in
My memory
And my heart beats faster
When I think of you
Loving you is all I
Want to do
No one else makes me
Feel so good
I just wanna grow old
With you
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Now
Don’t make me cry
Why do your kisses stay in
My memory
And my heart beats faster
When I think of you
It is a heartache just
to think you might not
Love me anymore
Now honey
It’s not too late
for our love to go on
It’s so hard to keep a smile
On my face
When you are not around
Please don’t throw our
Love away
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
I miss you every day
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
Hey honey
What are you doing to me
